REVIEWS

The Humms / The Ice Creams Split was released independently by The Humms (Gypsy Farm) in Winter 2008.  Tracks contributed by The Humms include “LSD Is Evil!” (Wild and comically out of focus view on an acid trip gone bad) and the now rarity “Cool-aid Man” (recorded in the early days of the band, still requested at live shows).

The Ice Creams are the solo effort of Zeke Sayer and the result of a one day “write, record, release” session that took place in November 2008. Two songs by The Ice Creams, “My Friend Frank” (When Frankenstein is your best friend) and “Call Me In The Morning” (Hazy ballad of a girl killing her boyfriend slowly) were selected from the project to appear on this split release. An EP from The Ice Creams is to be expected in 2010.
